Leadership at Grace Baptist 

My name is Travis Maxey, I have a wonderful wife and six beautiful children. I am a graduate of Liberty University with a BofA in Biblical Studies and of Liberty Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity in Leadership. Currently, I am pursuing a Doctorate of Ministry in Missions & Evangelism at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. I have served the local church as both a pastor and evangelist. I have also authored Ministers of Reconciliation: Proclaiming the God We Know and Sin: The Fools Exchange.

My hobbies consist of my family and reading. I mainly read the Bible, but I also enjoy reading many of the Puritans, JC Ryle, Charles Spurgeon, Andrew Murray, Ichabod Spencer, Lenord Ravenhill, Voddie Baucham, Paul Washer, and as many good biographies as I can find. My family and I enjoy the outdoors together, and we have a weak spot for farm animals. We also enjoy playing card games and reading bedtime stories together. Our family has an intense focus on family worship, gathering both morning and evening to worship the Lord our God. I desire that every man, woman, and child grow in their worship of God, and in Christlikeness with one another in unity and grace.
